The Dozen-Dose: Monthly Highlights
August/September 2009
The Nodes have switched and we should be seeing the long-term effects of the most recent Node
transit of Aquarius and Leo. There's a new focus--actually two, Capricorn and Cancer. One focus has the potential
to drain you, and the other focus seeks to inspire you. This week's all-sign scope reveals what you should have already
noticed from the last transit and what you should have to look forward to in the next year or so.

Aries: (4th & 10th house issues) Now that you're done spending all
that time with all those people...prepare to do it some more. 9 to 5 or will it be 9 to 9?
Tough choice, but hey, you don't get to the top of the mountain just by being a husband, or wife, or boyfriend,
or...
Taurus: (3th & 9th house issues) With so much family and home-life stuff
that has gone down, you almost started to think that going to work was less work than not working! The chaos won't
stay away, but you might. You'll soon travel far...by plane, boat, or mind! Don't meditate or pray
too much, though. Your neighbors and siblings will need you back down on Earth.
Gemini: (2nd & 8th house issues) You got away from it all (sorta). You escaped a bit, here and there, from the regular faces you grew up with. Even if your trip was just
a state of mind, rather than an exotic getaway, you've learned a new skill: taking refuge when you need to.
Remember that lesson over the next year, but more importantly remember that there's a difference between escaping
and escapism (-ism's are always bad)!
Cancer: (1st & 7th house issues) Enough with the money, or
lack thereof! You have to spend some change to make some change, so don't feel bad about the last year and
a half. You have more "changes" to worry about, anyhow. The most significant one being the fact that you're about
to need less in-your-shell time. I guess I shouldn't say you'll be worrying, though. Cancers are
the best care-takers after all. Enjoy!
Leo: (12th & 6th) Getting outside yourself and your own needs, wanting
to be a part of a whole (and not a whole separate part), splitting it 50-50...gets old! You are dying to take it back
to 51-49. The 51 is all yours baby. A bad martyr doth a lion make!
Virgo: (11th & 5th) Where's the fun? Where's the love? Where's
the good times where we can play like children and play with them too? Good news: Those times are coming.
You deserve it, but don't have all the fun by yourself. Your friends will wonder where you went!
Libra: (10th & 4th house issues) You're really good at trying to
please others. You've learned that fact over the past decade or so, but you're about to learn some new material.
In order keep up that balancing act that you're also so good at, you have to narrow down the list of beneficiaries of
your attention. Yourself, your loved ones, and (if they are lucky) a few extra special people who won't ask any questions.
Scorpio: (9th & 3rd house issues) The next year or so will
be a more light-hearted period than you've experiened recently. I'm not sure this is good news. I mean, we all
know how Scorpios like to explore the depths of misery (i.e. being a "something"-aholic...work or other vice). Try for
once to be addicted to fun and freedom (Although I'm not sure you'll be "free" from family "fun".)
Sagittarius: (8th & 2nd house issues) Normally too busy to look in
the mirror (Who needs that?), the change this year will be great. Not only will you look in the mirror, but you'll see
what's there. It will be right in front of your face: the things you have, the things you want, and the way in
which you can get it! p.s. Even if you stay home a little more this year, you'll want nothing more than what you already have.
Capricorn: (7th& 1st house issues) What will you do with yourself?
I have an answer to your question: show it off. I'm not talking about the typical ways of Capricorn bragging--buying
things or showing off what you already bought (We already know you are stacked!). I'm talking about, well,
talking! Go out, talk, send more mail, and hob-nob. Let everyone see what you have been hiding lately!
Aquarius: (6th & 12th house issues) Gains and losses.
Opened and closed. Found and missing. Coming out and hiding out. Remember those terms. By
the end of next year, you will know them well and you will know exactly what I mean by pointing out these particular
polarities.
Pisces: (5th house & 11th house issues) Everyone is going to the
aquarium this year! It's the place to be. (Not really...I'm kidding. I'm just trying to say in a fancy way
that you fish will be very popular this year, you'll be well fed, and you will like all the attention!)
